Total Tool is a full-service distributor of automotive shop equipment who sells and services automotive repair equipment covering upstate New York, Vermont, Eastern Massachusetts, and parts of Connecticut. Total Tool provides a wide variety of high-volume replacement parts and other products, as well as inventory management to a diverse customer base. We offer a full range of lift services including:

Our technicians are qualified lift inspectors that have a thorough knowledge of American National Standards Institute/Automotive Lift Institute (ANSI/ALI) standards.

Total Tool is the area’s sole distributor for major companies including Mohawk Resources, Ltd. and Hunter Engineering Co., Inc, in upstate New York, and Vermont. Ten years ago when the automotive industry was looking for an environmentally friendly heavy duty in-ground lift, we began selling installing the Mohawk/Stenhoj in-ground lift. Total Tool has grown significantly through the past twenty-five years. Since 1983, Total Tool has grown from employing two employees, to employing twenty local people in our Castleton, New York office.
