America’s Mayor Comes to Total Tool

Rudy Giuliani and Congressman Chris Gibson Visit

The eyes of the Capital Region of upstate New York were on Total Tool’s Schodack headquarters September 22, 2010 when former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani visited with Congressman Chris Gibson.

Mayor Giuliani made the visit in support of Gibson’s successful campaign for election. Giuliani and Gibson discussed business conditions in upstate with Total Tool President Kathy Dederick and ways to improve economic development conditions.

Total Tool’s Schodack location was chosen as the site for the Giuliani visit with Gibson because of Total Tool’s success in expanding and developing new business relationships during a difficult economy.

“It was a real thrill to welcome Rudy Giuliani and Congressman Chris Gibson to Total Tool and be able to show them our businesses and discuss our nation’s economic policies. Being selected to host their visit was a real honor,” said Dederick.

The visit included a tour of the Total Tool operation, visit with employees and a look at the various equipment offered at Total Tool. Giuliani and Gibson were particularly interested in a waste oil furnace, various lifts and tire changing equipment.

Giuliani and Gibson were impressed with the technological advances in the equipment offered by Total Tool, learning about the equipment as members of the area news media looked on. Both spoke of the need to support emerging businesses like Total Tool to help revitalize the economy.

The Mayor and Congressman also took the time to meet with employees at Total Tool and their many supporters at the Schodack location.

“Both Mayor Giuliani and Congressman Gibson showed real interest in our products and in Total Tool’s future. Total Tool looks forward to playing a part in helping our nation’s economic recovery,” said Dederick.
