Troy Fire Department Selects Total Tool for Fire House Lift Upgrades
Total Tool has been chosen by the City of Troy to help in upgrading an important part of the Collar City’s public safety services.
Total Tool will upgrade the Campbell Avenue Fire House operated by the Troy Fire Department, by installing six new Mohawk colums at the station. The lifts replace an older and less efficient vehicle lift at the busy firehouse.
The project presented some challenges, and Total Tool was selected for the work after showing it could install the new and heavier-capacity lift in tight quarters.
The Campbell Avenue is one of six firehouses serving those who live and work in Troy. The department answers approximately 9000 calls each year, with the Campbell Avenue station responding to a good percentage of those calls.
“The Troy Fire Department provides tremendous service to the people of Troy, protecting lives and property around the clock. Total Tool is proud to help the TFD in carrying out that important mission,” said Total Tool’s Peter Corsi.
Total Tool is a woman-owned business that has been in operation for more than 25 years.
